'I'll only be a minute ...'

It doesn't quite match the precision of the earlier example of inappropriate parking yesterday, writes Brian Byrne, but these pictures from Barry Brennan of a secure money transfer company's 'I'll only be a minute' actions on Main Street tell their own story.

"In this case no space available so just pull up and block the road and the disabled parking space," he comments. "No regard for other road users on this busy road!"

As an aside, it's worth noting that this kind of money transfer service is the 'alternative' suggested by a Bank of Ireland that no longer takes our cash lodgements.

It also highlights the lack of any 'loading bay' in the busiest part of town. Of course, that would have to be policed, too ...
