Kilcullen-Castledermot heritage course mooted

A course on the heritage and history of the area between Kilcullen and Castledermot is being proposed by the Kildare Library & Arts Services, writes Brian Byrne.

An introductory meeting on the idea has been organised by Mario Corrigan, Executive Librarian of the Kildare Collection & Research Services, and representatives of the Kildare Wicklow Education & Training Board (KWETB) for next Monday.

It will take place at 7pm in Crookstown KWETB, and if the course receives enough interest to go ahead, it is also hoped to set up a History & Heritage Group in the area.

Anyone interested is welcome on Monday evening.
