Kilcullen business boss to present at high-tech Las Vegas event
The changing role of the surveyor as data managers and the key link between designers, engineers and quantity surveyors will be the focus of a presentation to be made in Las Vegas by Murphy Surveys Ltd, based in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.
The presentation will be made by the company's MD Ray Murphy, under the title 'Transforming Technology into Client Value'.
More than 3,500 business leaders and innovators from over 80 countries will be attending the event on 12-15 June. 'HxGN Live' is organised every yearby Hexagon AB, a global leader in precision measuring technology.
The theme of this year's event is 'Shaping Smart Change, and through various presentations and speakers will explore current and developing technologies at the top end of the area.
Ray Murphy will be speaking in the 'Geospatial Track' at the event, on Thursday 14 June. "We are continually adapting and developing solutions to push the frontiers of digital data capture," he says, "so I’m excited to share our insights and latest projects with Hexagon’s community of users and partners. Innovation and technology forms the foundations of our organisation, so I’m also looking forward to understanding and being inspired about what the future from one of the world’s leading manufacturers.”
