Date for this year's Mac & Norman rally
The 16th Mac & Norman tractor rally will be held this year on Sunday 19 August, writes Brian Byrne.
The rally is in aid of the Irish Cancer Society and so far has raised more than €435,000.
As usual, the rally will start at Sully's yard at 1pm and will follow the usual route to Walls of Kilgowan via Kilcullen.
There will be entertainment at Walls throughout the afternoon and the charity auction will begin at 5.15pm.
Sponsorship cards are available from Ann at 045 483700, and any donations towards auction would be greatly appreciated.
The Irish Cancer Society is the largest voluntary funder of Cancer Research in Ireland and research projects in Ireland and throughout the world mean that six out of ten cancer patients now survive the disease.
