Healthy eating evening planned

An evening devoted to healthy eating is being organised by Kilcullen Community Action, writes Brian Byrne.

The venue will be Kalbarri Cookery School in Carnalway, and the date is Tuesday 15 May.

Weather permitting, the event — themed as a fun summer evening — will take place alfresco.

The initiative will also include a talk on composting, and how to reduce packaging. At a recent meeting of KCA it was suggested that a composting bin could be the prize for a raffle on the night.

Numbers will be limited. We'll have more details on costs and booking closer to the event.
