Development application for Calverstown

A planning application for a development of ten homes in Calverstown has been lodged with Kildare County Council, writes Brian Byrne.

The application by Adrian Fox is for ten detached four-bedroom dormer dwellings of 156.1sqm each, along with access road and footpaths, new entrance, car parking, green open space, landscaping and all other associated site development works.

The applicant says the development will provide for local housing needs in a Classified Rural settlement.

Submissions on the application, file number 18337, must be made by 2 May 2018.

According to Census 2016, the population of Calverstown is 699.
