Busy time for Community Games

It has been a very busy couple of weeks for Kilcullen Community Games, writes Papillon Rabbitte, with great work from the contestants in Swimming, Mini Rugby and Indoor Soccer.

Kilcullen did exceptionally well at the county swimming gala taking home 10 county medals including four gold. The gala was held over two days in K Leisure, Athy, where the standard of competition was incredibly high. Mini Rugby
Our under-11 rugby squad, the current county champions, played and won a thrilling game against a Skerries side to secure their place in the Leinster finals which are being held this year in Trim, County Meath on Sunday 29 April. Well done to the boys and their coaches on a fantastic achievement.

Indoor Soccer
The boys U10 indoor soccer blitz was held in Newbridge and the Kilcullen boys did a great job finishing 3rd overall, bringing more county medals Kilcullen's way.
