James Nolan for 'Nationwide' next week
First there was the Woodbine Books piece on RTE last week subsequent to their winning the Indie Bookseller of the Year 2018 in Ireland, and on Monday it was the 'Nationwide' team who were down in Nolans Butchers.
Mary Fanning interviewed James Nolan (above) and his sister Catherine for a piece on organ donation, which will be screened on Wednesday evening of next week.
It's all part of Organ Donor Awareness Week which begins this Saturday 31 March. As many know, James was provided with a kidney by Catherine some 30 years ago.
He has since been a tireless fundraiser for organ donation and for the care of people with kidney problems. His story featured also in a special supplement in yesterday's Irish Times on organ donation.
