Drama students to get extra rehearsal
Drama Dynamics students preparing for the Royal Irish Academy exams next Saturday will be scheduled for extra practice in the coming week, writes Brian Byrne.
This follows time lost during the past week because of the extreme weather.
"We have over 80 students for the exams, which will be in the Parish Centre," says Evelyn O'Sullivan.
"Anne O'Connell and I are also going to organise extra rehearsals for our Act/Dance/Perform production of 'Alice', which takes place on 23/24 March in the Moat Theatre in Naas."
Evelyn also notes that ten Fifth Year CPC students are preparing to do a 30-minute production of 'Macbeth' on Tuesday 13 March in the Kildare Drama Schools Festival.
No pressure, right? "Am I stressed? ... just a teeny weeny bit!"
