All weather pitch resurfacing in summer
On behalf of the Board of Kilcullen Community Centre I would wish to thank all the clubs, groups and schools for their kind words of support in our recent application to DTTAS to resurface our All Weather Pitch, writes Ronan Murphy, chairman of the Centre.
And in particular we express our thanks to our local representative Deputy Martin Heydon who has encouraged and supported this project from the outset.
The new pitch carpet will cost approximately €220,000 which will be part funded by the Sports Capital Grant. The balance of €153,000 will be sourced from our investment account and new borrowings.
We hope to schedule this work to commence in the Summer school break 2018, and we look forward to another 15 years of sporting activity on a new 5G surface.
Full details of this project and all other activities in the Centre can be found on our website.
