Pilates 'taster' opportunity on Thursday
A new Pilates Class starting in Kilcullen Community Centre on Thursday night begins with a free 'taster' session for the first 20 customers, writes Brian Byrne.
Organised by Yvonne Kelly, the 7pm-8pm session begins a series of Pilates Flow evenings suitable for all levels, male and female of all ages.
The class is a fusion of pilates and yoga flow postures focusing on strengthening the core and increasing flexibility and rebalancing energy levels and sense of well-being.
Yvonne has been being in the health and fitness industry since 2011 based in Dublin 4 and is delighted that she can finally offer a class in the town where she grew up in and around Kildare.
The free 1-hour taster session will allow newcomers to experience all the benefits pilates and yoga can offer. The first 20 people to contact Yvonne by email at yvonnepilatesyoga@gmail.com get their free place on 8 February. First come first served basis.
Those who want to continue can sign up on the night for a 6-week course at €70, starting on Thursday 15 February.
