Crean's Place opening in evenings

Crean's Place, which up to now has been only opening in daytime as a cafe and restaurant, will start evening service tonight, writes Brian Byrne.

Chef David Byrne will offer a number of signature dishes on an a la carte basis, between 6pm-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

"I'm keeping it simple at the moment, but I'll soon also be offering a 6-course taster menu," he says, adding that the business has a full wine and beer licence, with the latter emphasis on craft beers from a Clane brewery.
