Tai Chi classes resume in Parish Centre

Tai Chi classes resume at Kilcullen Parish Centre on Wednesday 10 January, conducted by Yuki Kobayashi, writes Brian Byrne. Sessions begin each week at 10am.

Yuki came to live in Ireland in 2000. An acupuncturist by profession, she first encountered the martial arts-based Tai Chi when she needed to deal with severe back pain.

It offers similar levels of exercise as does brisk walking. It also results in a range of health benefits, especially in recovery from injury.
