New classrooms being built at CPC
Building work is due to begin at Cross and Passion College next week on Temporary Accommodation of two classrooms, an additional Art Room and a second ASD Classroom.
Site preparation will commence on Thursday 25 January with Instaspace Ltd as the main contractors. The project will take eight weeks to complete and the College looks forward to having the new facilities in operation after Easter of this academic year.
For the period of construction, the contractors will access the site through a temporary access on the R448, as on previous projects.
Work will be carried on between 8am and 6pm each weekday and from 8am–1pm on Saturdays.
The work will have no impact on students over the period as the space will be fully fenced off. "We also hope that there will be minimal disruption for local residents and we appreciate the community support throughout," Principal Catherine Moynihan says.
