Councillors told Thompson's Cross issues 'resolved'

Kildare County Council says that four issues related to works at Thompson's Cross in 2016 'were resolved' during recent completed works, writes Brian Byrne.

This was the response to a request by Cllr Sorcha O'Neill that the Municipal District Engineer and safety audit personnel should meet at Thompson's Cross 'to discuss the recent improvements'.

The Report to the Naas MD meeting this week noted that the issues had been resolved following a Safety Audit of the Low Cost Safety Improvement Scheme carried out in 2016.
