Second Deputy Principal for CPC
A second Deputy Principal, Joe Leonard, has been appointed at Cross and Passion College, writes Brian Byrne. He joins Katriona Harney, who was appointed to a similar position following the retirement of Noel Clare last year.
Mr Leonard has 20 years of experience in education, having taught in schools in Clondalkin, Tallaght, James's Street, and Terenure in Dublin, and most recently worked as a Deputy Principal for six years in Finglas in Dublin.
He says he is 'very excited' to have been given the opportunity to contribute to, and build upon, the excellent work already evident in CPC.
"Living locally, I am fully aware of the tremendous reputation of the school within the local community and far beyond. "I look forward to working closely with the parents and guardians of our students in ensuring the very best for their sons and daughters in their education. I have been made very welcome in the Cross and Passion community, and look forward to many years working together."
