Crumlin Cycle fund grows
The funds raised by participants in the recent Murphy Surveys Cycle for Crumlin have now reached €12,670, writes Brian Byrne.
Some 200 cyclists took part in the event on 22 July, involving two routes starting and finishing at the company's HQ in Kilcullen Business Park.
Apart from the cyclists, family members of the participants enjoyed refreshments and amusements while they waited for the participants to return.
The organisers have thanked companies and individuals who rallied together for the cause. These included Liam Walker and Kilcullen Cycling Club, MDC Physiotherapy, Briqo Catering, Scats Bouncing Castles, and Burkes Pharmacy in Kilcullen, The Keadeen Hotel, Sharons’ Perferct Images, who sponsored prizes.
They also thanked the local community of Kilcullen and the local Gardaí for their help. "We’re delighted to see the support continue to grow, year on year, for such an amazing cause,” CEO Raymond Murphy and MD Niall Murphy said.
