Bus service changes from next week
Six bus services will operate from Kilcullen to Dublin on Monday-Friday from 8 August next week, writes Brian Byrne.
The times are 03:15, 06:50 (both Kavanagh 717), 07:05, 07:55, 09:35 (all Bus Eireann 130), and 20:05 (Kavanagh 717). The 07:05 service will connect with the Bus Eireann 126 service at Naas PO for onward journey to Dublin.
On Saturdays, the 130 service will only run at 08:05.
For travellers from Castlecomer and Athy direction on Mondays to Fridays, a new 817A service operated by Ring-a-Link will arrive in Kilcullen at 09:25 to link with the 130 service leaving at 09:35.
Southbound, a new 130 service from Monday to Friday will leave George's Quay at 22:33, arriving at Kilcullen at 23:50, and continuing to Athy. It will travel on to further stops as far as Castlecomer only if there are people on board to those destinations.
