Steiner school workshop on 'Creative Discipline'
A workshop on Creative Discipline and the Young Child will be held at the Kildare Steiner School next Saturday, 10 June.
Conducted by Sinead Ui Thiamaigh, Steiner Kindergarten teacher, the half-day event (10.30am-3.30pm) is designed to enable parents and care workers to access their own unique ‘inner book’ on rearing a small child.
Along with the help of a few creative props (puppetry, story-telling, imagery), participants will spend the day exploring their own ‘inner books’ and developing a ‘tool box’ of practices to help them deal creatively and positively with behavioural issues. These will include boundary-setting, rhythm and routine.
The fee is €30 and booking is required. Click here for booking form and workshop brochure.
