A few volunteer slots left for Hospice fundraiser
A few more volunteers are wanted for the Kilcullen Lions Bag Pack in aid of the Kildare Hospice this week, writes Brian Byrne.
The slots at M&S Whitewater still to be filled are one person on Thursday 8 June from 12 noon-2pm, one person Friday 9 from 4mp-6pm, one person Saurday 10 from 4pm-6pm and two people on Sunday 11 from 4pm-6pm.
Don't forget also that there's a sponsored static cycle outside the M&S on the Saturday and Sunday, also for the same cause.
"The Hospice volunteers have done a wonderful job raising €5m of the €6m needed to complete the new hospice," says Antoinette Buckley of the Kilcullen Lions sub-committee running this combined event. "Every little more we can raise brings them closer to finishing the job."
