KCA/Tidy Towns AGM
The AGM of Kilcullen Community Action/Tidy Towns will take place on Wednesday next, 24 May, in Kilcullen Heritage Centre, writes Brian Byrne.
All are welcome to the meeting, which will begin at 8pm.
In addition to the usual Tidy Towns work, KCA/TT organises the Kilcullen in Bloom summer flowers project, the Christmas Lights, and promotes community projects which in the past have included the Dun Ailinne Interpretive Park, the lowering of the Convent Wall, and the ongoing development of the Convent Garden.
The group also maintains the Valley Park and is currently undertaking a clean-up of the entrance roads to the town.
New members are always welcome.
