This year the McAuley Place charity in Naas will benefit from the day. McAuley Place provides independent living facilities for the elderly.
The day offers a fun excursion for all, whether very active or leisurely, beginning with a 2-mile Fun Run along the ambulance track at 1.30pm. Naas Rugby Club is organising this, and sponsorship cards are available from the Club.
A Dog Walk and Dog Show sponsored by Irish Dog Foods Ltd will offer an incentive to come out to dog lovers, while family entertainment will feature throughout the afternoon.
