Parish Feis another big success
More than 360 dancers took part in the annual Parish Feis organised by the Landers School of Dancing yesterday, writes Brian Byrne.
Family groups were queuing up well in advance of the opening of registration at 9am.
The Feis has been run by the Landers family for more than four decades in aid of Parish funds. It started out as one of the events held in the marquee during Kilcullen's annual Carnival, later moved to the JFK Hall, and is now a regular event in the Community Centre.
The first one raised £59, but these days the day raises several thousand euro for the Parish.
