Information evening for cardiac patients
A Patient Information Evening for those who have had cardiac illness treatment will be held in Kilashee Hotel on Saturday 25 February, writes Karen Cradock of Heart 2 Heart Cardiac Physiotherapy. It takes place between 5pm-7pm and attendance is free.
Presentations will include 'Risk Factor Modification' by Dr Vincent Maher, Consultant Cardiologist in Tallaght Hospital and the Blackrock Clinic.
Una McCrystal, Senior Dietician at Tallaght Hospital will speak on 'Diet and Cardiovascular Health' and Veronica O'Doherty, Clinical Psychologist at Tallaght Hospital, will talk about 'Mindfulness and Heart Disease'.
The presentation of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Patient of the Year Award 2017 will take place at 7pm.
The event is organised by the Irish Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation and is sponsored by Servier.
