Back home launch for trad CD
The launch of a CD in Fallons back room tonight will bring traditional Irish musician Michael Landers right back to home, the house he was raised in being in the lane right outside the building, writes Brian Byrne.
‘Yield up the Night Time’, recorded with his musical colleagues and friends Mike Butler and Aidan McMahon in the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis last year, was officially launched at the recent Ennis Trad Festival.
This Kildare launch is the start of a tour of national trad venues to promote the music, a blend of South Clare Tulla and North Clare Kilfenora styles which the three play every weekend in the Old Ground Hotel.
Whatever your music preferences, this is going to be a cracking night. Get down to Fallons early.
