Carol Services

A reminder that Carol Services will be held in St John's Church, Yellow Bog, and Kilcullen Parish Church this week, writes Mary Barber.

The Service of Nine Lessons & Carols will be in St John's on Thursday 15 December, beginning at 7.30pm and featuring the Gormanstown/Dunlavin Choir (pictured above with the Curragh Choir at the Choral Concert in the church on 2 December), tenor Paul Travey, with organists Dean Philip Knowles and Peter Moloney. The prayer leader will be Tom Wheatley.

The Service in Kilcullen Parish Church on Saturday 17 December will also feature the Gormanstown/Dunlavin Choir, as well as the Camphill Bell Ringers, flautist Gese Mücke, organist Peter Moloney, with Charlie Talbot performing as master of ceremonies. The prayers will be led by Fr Niall Mackey.
