Knife threat robbery at Centra in Kilcullen

A man in a maroon hoodie threatened the staff at Centra on Hillcrest with a knife shortly after the store opened at 7am today, writes Brian Byrne. He took money and left. He was wearing a white scarf over his face.

Nobody was hurt, but obviously it was a very traumatic experience for the staff present.

Gardai are investigating. They have appealed for information to 045 884300.
