Hillside footpath, parking, work in progress

Kildare County Council has begun work on refurbishing the footpath at Hillside and lining out proper parking bays, writes Brian Byrne.

As part of the process, the centre line markings of the road have been changed, making for narrower marked carriageways.

During the progress of the works, residents are unable to park outside their homes.

The matter came up for an off-agenda discussion at last night's meeting of Kilcullen Community Action, where some concern was expressed about an apparent lack of communication directly with the residents in advance of the works starting.
