The passing of Gerard Askins

The Diary has learned of the death of Gerard Askins, of Harbour Court, Courtown, Co Wexford and late of Kilcullen.

Beloved partner of Geraldine and loving father of David and Rosemary, he is sadly missed by them and also his brother Patrick, sisters Helen, Mary and Cath, daughter-in-law Karen, brothers-in-law, Adam, extended family relatives and friends.

Gerard will be reposing at his home today, Friday, from 2pm. until 7pm. Removal will take place tomorrow, Saturday, after prayers at 12.30pm to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Riverchapel, for Funeral Mass at 1pm. This will be followed by a private cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Irish Lung Fibrosis Association.
