Monday litter picks suspended

The Monday night litter pick organised by Kilcullen Tidy Towns has been suspended because of the darker evenings, writes Brian Byrne.

This was decided at the most recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action, which confirmed that the Saturday morning picks will continue for the moment.

Individuals are still encouraged to pick litter in their own time.

The litter picks by Tidy Towns volunteers through the summer have helped substantially in keeping the town looking tidy.
