Aisling brings All-Ireland cup to Brannoxtown
There was great excitement this afternoon at Brannoxtown NS when the whole Kildare Ladies All-Ireland winning team arrived at the school to show off the cup they won yesterday in Croke Park, writes Brian Byrne.
Led in by their captain Aisling Holton, a teacher at the school, the team got a rousing welcome from pupils, parents and staff.
It was the first All-Ireland cup to come to Kildare since 1965, when the county u21s brought home the silver.
