Brush is coming to town

Just a reminder that Irish rock and blues icon Brush Shiels will be topping the bill at the Shave or Dye night in aid of the Irish Cancer Society in The Spout this Friday 16 September, writes Brian Byrne.

The gig will also feature lots of other top music, and will be the second leg of The Spout’s annual autumn fundraising for the ICS, led by Jimmy Aspell, following the recent very successful Pitch & Putt competition.

In the Shave or Dye component, a number of volunteers are already gathering sponsorship for their contributions, especially Riggy Reid who is having her hair shaved off for the cause.
