Jimmy Byrne Vintage Run 2016
The event is a fundraiser for St Brigid’s Hospice on The Curragh and for the Alzheimer Unit at St Vincent’s in Athy.
The Saturday events get going with a Duck Race on the River Greese at 6pm, followed at 8pm by a Barrel Race from Crookstown School to Ballitore Square. There will be music on the street afterwards.
Registration on the Sunday 24th for the Vehicle Run starts at 12pm entry fee €20, and the Run itself begins at 1.30pm. Music and Family Fun events start at 2pm, including a barbecue and pig on a spit. A charity auction takes place at 4.30pm.
