Halverstown children's generosity to Kenya

Having exchanged letters and videos with their friends in Maintain Hope Children's Home, the children of St Joseph's Halverstown held an impromptu sale of used books and toys to raise money for their Kenyan friends, writes Gerry O’Donoghue of Maintain Hope.

The money so lovingly raised will be used to make school more enjoyable for their friends in Ngong by providing books and equipment.

We hope to extend and strengthen the links between the two groups of children who have made a real and meaningful connection.
