Closing date looms for CU College Bursary

A reminder that Kilcullen students who completed their Leaving Cert Exam this year and who are members of the Credit Union can enter a draw that could win them a €3,000 Bursary towards College expenses. The closing date for applications is 24 September 2016.

The Chris Kelly Bursary was set up in memory of a founder of Kildare Credit Union, with which Kilcullen Credit Union recently merged. The Bursary has been running since 2005, and will be paid to the winning student in three €1,000 tranches over three years.

A number of terms and conditions apply to applicants, who can also be mature students who have completed their Leaving Cert this summer. They include evidence of intention to attend a college course in 2016/2017.
