Ciara to start Time Trials this evening
Ciara is a member of the Ireland Paralympic Squad, and she’s pictured here taking part in the Tour de Burren as part of the squad’s training camp. She will be one of 16 Para Athletes in the National Championships TT race who will take the 20km route from Kilcullen to a point 10k down the Athy Road and back to Kilcullen, setting off at 4.01pm.
The other category contestants in the 75-strong field will start their 40km distances at 6.01pm from Kilcullen to Athy and return to Kilcullen for the finish. These will include Tandems, Women, and Elite/U23 Men.
Each rider will start one minute apart.
The other races of the National Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
