Ray Kelly new chair of KCA
Ray Kelly has been elected Chairperson of Kilcullen Community Action, succeeding Niall McDonnell, writes Brian Byrne.
Ann Cashman and Evelyn O’Sullivan are Secretary and Assistant Secretary respectively, and Eoin Houlihan has taken over the role of Communications in KCA, which is the umbrella organisation for Kilcullen Tidy Towns and community development initiatives.
KCA is currently developing short, medium and long-term plans for improvements in Kilcullen under a number of headings, including Built Environment & Streetscape, Landscaping & Open Space, Wildlife Habitats & Natural Amenities, Sustainable Waste & Resource Management, Tidiness & Litter, and Residential Streets & Housing Estates.
The next meeting of KCA will be on Tuesday 7 June, in Fallons. Meanwhile, Saturday mornings and Monday evenings are current Tidy Towns work times. All welcome to participate.
