Just four weeks to Yarn Bomb month

The ICA Kildare Yarn Bomb project is click-clacketing away at very high speeds, and is inundated with pieces for the event in June, writes Brian Byrne.

The project now has some 600 schoolchildren also involved, from a number of schools in the area, with all possible colours, all levels of the craft.

The organisers have targeted 41 trees in the region to add rainbow hues to, and are particularly looking for people to knit some extra birds for this.
