Handwriting champs!
Congratulations to our Handwriting champions who won four county medals at the Community Games County Final in Athgarvan, writes Papillon Rabitte. Best of luck to Ella Cole who goes forward to represent Kildare at the National Finals this August.
The four winners were: Ella Cole -1st place U10 girls; Katie O Donnell - 4th Place U10 girls; Liam Wynne - 3rd place U10 boys; and Paddy Taylor - 3rd place U12 boys.
In other news, our local swimming competition was held recently in the Curragh pool. A big thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help us run the event.
All the winners below go forward to the County Swimming competition which will be held in K Leisure, Athy. The girls' competition will be held on Saturday 30th April and the boys' competition will be held on Sunday 1st May. Registration is at 1.30pm.

Meanwhile, the County cross country event will take place this Friday the 22nd of April in Sarsfield GAA, Newbridge at 7pm. Those interested in competing are invited to turn up at the event.
Under 12 - Run 500m and the first 6 boys and girls across the line will become the county team; Under 13 - Run 1200m and the first 5 girls and boys across the line will become the county team; Under 14 - Run 700m and the first 6 boys and girls across the line will become the county team.
