Teachers to receive advice on dyspraxia
Teachers in St Joseph's NS, Halverstown, will be provided with expert advice on helping children with dyspraxia or dysgraphia.
On a date in April yet to be confirmed, occupation therapist Kate Cremin will visit the school to show best practices in the development of fine motor skills and handwriting.
Parents of children in the school diagnosed with dyspraxia will be invited to attend in the afternoon of the day. They will receive advice on how best to help their children with handwriting and support the work being carried out in the school.
Katie Cremin is also Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy at TCD.
