Kilcullen medals haul at Community Games Art
It was a great result at the County Art Community Games competition at the weekend, where Kilcullen competitors brought home a grand total of seven county medals, writes Papillon Rabbitte.
The competition, held in the Patrician Primary School Newbridge, saw over 400 children from all parts of Kildare take part. A magnificent display of talent was on show over the course of the morning with the children producing some very impressive artwork.
Kilcullen collected medals in most age categories, including one gold, two silver, two bronze and a 4th place.
Ella Cullen now goes forward to represent Kildare at the National Finals which take place in Athlone on 14-16 August.
Well done to all who participated and many congratulations to:
Mae Cowper Gray - 3rd place U8 girls
