Carol Service tonight for organ restoration fund

A Carol Service in Kilcullen Parish Church tonight, Monday 21 December, will include contributions from the Kilcullen and Germantown parish choirs as well as the school choir of Scoil Bhride, writes Brian Byrne.

In addition, the bell ringers from Bridge Campbell and the Miltown Singers (Dunlavin) will also perform. The organist and artistic director of the occasion is Peter Moloney (pictured).

There’s no charge for the event, but donations for the John White Organ Restoration Fund, the organ in the church, will be gratefully accepted.

The recitals begin at 7.30pm.

A Summer Concert in aid of the same Fund was much enjoyed by those who attended.
