Text Alert clarification

The Kilcullen Garda District Text Alert committee has clarified recent changes to the system.

Although the Garda are providing more of an input, the scheme is still community run and open for receiving texts.

Crimes or activities of concern should still be reported to the gardai in the first instance, and the committee emphasises that members of the scheme should stay alert, especially with the darker evenings of winter.

More members, especially from the town areas, will be very welcome.
