Relay for Life 'incredible success'
The Kildare Relay For Life event last weekend was incredibly successful, writes Sabina Reddy.
The numbers of people who attended and participated were incredible, and we in the Kilcullen Team were very happy with our representation there.
The whole event was moving, inspiring, and a fabulous recognition of cancer and remembrance of its victims.
We are very grateful to Kilcullen Scouts, Adventurers and Leaders for their support in manning the Kilcullen Tent during the night.
Our total funds raised for the event came to €2,600, the proceeds of our Christmas Jumper Night, Pat Goulding's Movember sponsorship, and our Coffee Morning where we also sold the Candle of Hope bags.
We really want to thank all those who supported us, and you can follow our Kilcullen Team Relay for Life Facebook page for upcoming events. (Pictures by Conor Williams.)
