The passing of Pat Murtagh

The Diary has been informed of the death of Pat Murtagh, Newberry Stud and late of Old Greenfield, Maynooth.

Pat was well known to Kilcullen people, and a friend to many of them during the more than four decades in which he was resident manager at the Stud.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday in Kilcullen Parish Church at 12 noon, followed by cremation afterwards in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

There's a request for family flowers only, and the house and crematorium are private.
