Library painting on the way

Preparatory work has been taking place on the Library and the surrounding wall for a full refresh and painting of the external building, writes Brian Byrne.

One of Kilcullen's excellent public assets, the Library is the former Boys School established in 1925 and is a listed building.

The facility is under the direction of Julie O'Donoghue, and many heritage and other events take place there on a regular basis.

It'll be nice to see it freshened up. It was last refurbished in 2008.
