'Decade of Commemorations' meeting this week

A public consultation meeting aimed a gauging people's reaction to the national strategy on commemorations will be hosted by the Kildare Decade of Commemorations in the Osprey Hotel this coming Thursday 14 May 2015.

The event starts at 7.30pm and the organisers hope to harness the ideas and creativity of the local community organisations and individuals in Co Kildare in celebrating the number of local milestones relating to the significant events in Irish history that took place between 1913 and 1923.
