Kilcullen's Lourdes Grotto, 1959

Another lookback from the clippings scrapbooks of the late Nicky Myers, which are in Kilcullen Heritage Centre. This time it's a newspaper photograph from the blessing of the grotto beside the Parish Centre, on December 9 1959.

Note that it is called the Kilcullen Lourdes Grotto, and those pictured are James Quinn, who donated the cost of the work; V Rev J Furlong, PP; and Paddy Moloney, who built the grotto.
