Weather held for Josie's walk

The weather threatened, but remained kind for Josie Connolly and her sponsored walkers this evening, writes Brian Byrne.

And they got a great send-off from all the customers at The Stray Inn before they made their way to Kilcullen via Nicholastown. Well-deserved refreshments in O'Connell's Bar ended the walk, in aid of the Alzheimer's Unit in St Vincent's Hospital in Athy.

The annual Street Collection for the cause is tomorrow, so be sure to have change (of the folding kind) as you go about your business on Main Street.
