Warning on bogus charity 'raffle tickets'

The Kildare Animal Foundation has issued a warning about bogus sellers offering what purport to be KAF raffle tickets in the Newbridge area over the last couple of days.

The charity emphasises that it does not, and never has, engaged in door to door selling of any tickets or any type of merchandise whatsoever.

KAF urges people asked to buy a ticket for KAF at the door, to call the Gardai immediately.

However, a Street Collection organised in Kilcullen for Saturday 26 July is official. An appeal for local collectors willing to give an hour of their day has been issued, from Celia and Mary Travers on 087 2821697.
